Why Ogno
Enterprise AI stalls on missing context.Ogno learns it.
Our thesis, in five parts. Today we are building with our first pilot teams, and SOC 2 Type II is in progress.
01The insight
Enterprise AI pilots stall for want of context.
An agent working inside a company needs five kinds of context: what is true now, what is written down, what things mean, how work is done, and what happened. Connectors solve the first, second and fifth. Meaning and practice live in people's heads.
That is why pilots take months: someone interviews the staff and writes it all down. Whoever turns tacit context into something an agent can use, fastest, wins the deployment.
02Why now
Models can now use tools. They still do not know your company.
In our view, the last two years made tool use reliable: agents can query systems, write and run code, and follow procedures. Standard tool protocols mean one agent can reach most business software.
The bottleneck is now context and control, and Ogno is built for both.
03The wedge
One Slack channel where work slips between people.
Ogno starts in a single team channel: it writes down what people ask for and promise, puts one owner on each item, follows up once and escalates once. Value shows up in the first week, without a data project.
From there it spreads team by team, then across the organization, each with its own Ogno under one set of rules.
04Why it compounds
Every week inside a company makes Ogno harder to replace.
Ogno builds its map of each company, its procedures and its memory from use. That context is specific to the customer and accumulates; a new vendor starts from zero.
Governance is part of the product: per-team read controls, approvals bound to the exact request, and records of every run. That is what lets a security team say yes.
05Where it goes
From one channel to the whole company, under rules the company sets.
Companies should be able to turn how they want to operate into software they control, without translating every process into code or handing authority to an opaque system.
Ogno is the first step.
